The 106 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) PARA, popularly known as the “Bangalore Terriers”, has returned to its permanent location in Bengaluru after completing an intensive three-year field tenure in Jammu & Kashmir. The battalion was deployed in Jammu & Kashmir from June 2023 to September 2026 in a challenging counter-terrorism operational environment.
