Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Park Maharashtra Limited (NSHIPML) to participate as the Anchor Shipyard for the proposed Greenfield Shipbuilding Industrial Cluster at Dighi in Raigad district, Maharashtra. The MoU was signed in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Capt. The Defence Accounts Department (DAD) has achieved a significant milestone by completing the 100 per cent normalisation of discrepant pension cases pertaining to the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy on the SPARSH (System for Pension Administration – Raksha) platform. The achievement has been realised through a focused, mission-mode drive involving close monitoring, systematic examination of cases and coordinated action by the concerned offices. The 22nd edition of the India-US Joint Military Exercise ‘Yudh Abhyas 2026’ commenced today with the opening ceremony held at the Auli Foreign Training Node in Uttarakhand. Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh unveiled a series of policy initiatives aimed at strengthening the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)-industry partnership and creating greater opportunities for MSMEs and start-ups during the ‘VIMARSH’ DRDO-Industry Synergy Meet in New Delhi on September 15, 2026.
