Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh on Sunday launched the revamped websites of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the Department of Defence (DoD), featuring enhanced accessibility, a user-friendly interface and multilingual content.

The redesigned platforms comply with the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM) 3.0 and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0, aimed at improving the digital delivery of government information and services.

The websites provide easy access to defence policies, government initiatives, official notifications, departmental activities and other important defence-related updates. Information is available in 22 Indian official languages to expand outreach and ensure greater accessibility for citizens and stakeholders across the country.

The initiative aligns with the Government’s Digital India and e-Governance vision, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, efficiency and citizen-centric information delivery through a secure and modern digital platform.

The revamped websites can be accessed at www.mod.gov.in.
