The spirit of Raksha Bandhan came alive in Leh on Friday as students from several schools tied Rakhis to troops of the Ladakh Scouts, celebrating the enduring bond of affection, respect and trust between the Armed Forces and the people of Ladakh.
The heartfelt gesture by the young students was a touching expression of gratitude towards the soldiers who remain committed to safeguarding the nation and serving communities in the region.
With Rakhis tied on the wrists of the troops, the celebration reflected the strong emotional connection between the soldiers and the local community. The children also conveyed their heartfelt wishes and appreciation for the courage, dedication and sacrifices of the Armed Forces.
