The Indian Navy Band performed at the Khukri Memorial Amphitheatre in Diu as part of the Navy’s outreach initiative, drawing an audience of more than 800 people.
The performance featured patriotic melodies and vibrant musical compositions, offering the public an opportunity to engage with the Indian Navy through music and community outreach.
Commander J Ram Bharat of Naval Base Porbandar attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Shri Shivam Mishra, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Diu, was the Guest of Honour.
The audience included NCC cadets and school students from Diu, Veraval and Ghoghla, besides tourists visiting Diu from different parts of the country.
The musical evening served as an outreach initiative aimed at strengthening public engagement and fostering a closer bond between the Indian Navy and the citizens, while showcasing the Navy’s ceremonial and musical traditions.
