Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti (Retd) delivered an insightful lecture on “Op Sindoor: Operational Synergy Across the Three Services and Key Takeaways” for cadets and officers at the National Defence Academy (NDA).
During the lecture, the veteran Air Marshal highlighted key aspects of jointness among the three Services, including the need for greater interoperability and enhanced compatibility in planning and executing military operations.
He also shared key operational lessons from Operation Sindoor, focusing on the importance of integrated efforts and synergy among the Army, Navy and Air Force in meeting emerging security challenges.
Drawing from his own experiences as a former NDA cadet, Air Marshal Bharti encouraged the cadets to make the most of their time at the Academy by developing strong values, leadership qualities and a professional outlook.
He emphasised that while acquiring core military and professional skills is essential, cadets must also cultivate the character, discipline and leadership attributes required to shoulder greater responsibilities in the Services.
The interaction provided NDA cadets and officers an opportunity to gain insights from the veteran’s operational experience while reinforcing the importance of jointness, interoperability, professional competence and leadership in the future conduct of military operations.
