Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hailed the successful launch of ISRO’s GSLV-F17 mission carrying EOS-05, describing it as another outstanding achievement and a proud moment for the nation.
The Prime Minister said the successful mission, which placed India’s first-ever imaging satellite from Geosynchronous orbit, reflects the excellence, innovation and growing capabilities of the country’s space sector.
He also highlighted the expanding partnership between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Indian industry, noting that the collaboration is adding greater strength and scale to India’s space programme and broadening capabilities across the entire space ecosystem.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said:
