The Red Shield Division under the Spear Corps, in collaboration with the District Administration of Charaideo, organised an Agniveer Preparedness Program at Borhat on Tuesday to guide and motivate local youth aspiring to join the Indian Army.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 students, including 56 girls, from various parts of the region.
The initiative aimed to mentor aspiring candidates by providing guidance on physical fitness, written examination preparation, and the overall recruitment process for Agniveer entry into the Indian Army.
During the event, participants were briefed on physical standards, endurance requirements, examination patterns, and other important aspects of the recruitment procedure. Students also interacted with officials to better understand the preparation needed and the qualities required for a successful career in the Armed Forces.
The programme highlighted the importance of discipline, dedication, leadership, and service to the nation, encouraging young people to explore opportunities in national service through the Armed Forces.
The initiative was appreciated by the civil administration and members of the local community for promoting youth empowerment and nation-building while encouraging greater participation of local youth in defence services.
Officials said the Indian Army remains committed to mentoring and inspiring the younger generation through such outreach programmes across the region.
