On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, Spearhead Division OF Spear Corps organised a 10-kilometre bicycle rally at West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, promoting the message of fitness, environmental awareness and sustainable living.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 students of local schools and colleges. The route passed through the scenic valley along the Siyom River, adding a strong environmental connect to the event and highlighting the importance of preserving the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.

The event aimed to encourage youth to adopt cycling as a healthy, eco-friendly and sustainable mode of mobility. It also reinforced the importance of regular physical activity, responsible citizenship and collective efforts towards a greener future.

The bicycle rally served as a meaningful platform to bring together students, local youth and the Indian Army under the shared theme of “Pedalling towards a healthier and greener tomorrow”.

The successful conduct of the rally reflected strong community participation and the Indian Army’s continued commitment towards nation-building, youth engagement and environmental consciousness.
