General Takehiro Morita, Chief of Staff of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), and Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, flew the indigenous Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) at Air Force Station Jodhpur as part of Exercise Veer Guardian 26.
Air Chief Marshal AP Singh led the formation in the Tejas LCA as Eagle One, while General Morita flew in the aircraft’s twin-seat variant.
The joint sortie highlighted the growing operational synergy, interoperability and professional camaraderie between the Indian Air Force and the JASDF.
The flight also provided an opportunity to showcase India’s indigenous aerospace capabilities during the ongoing bilateral air exercise.
