The Indian Army’s Spearhead Division under Spear Corps conducted a youth empowerment programme under Project NAVBHARAT at Likabali today, reaffirming its commitment to nation-building and youth engagement in the North East.

The initiative witnessed participation of over 250 students and teachers from Likabali and the neighbouring Silapathar region. Designed to inspire the younger generation towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, the programme focused on fostering national integration, patriotism, and responsible citizenship.

As part of the event, participants attended motivational lectures and documentary screenings showcasing the training, professionalism, and valour of Indian Army personnel. The sessions highlighted stories of courage, sacrifice, and selfless service, encouraging students to contribute positively to society and embrace the spirit of national service.

A major attraction was the static display of modern weapons and military equipment, providing attendees with firsthand exposure to the Indian Army’s operational capabilities, preparedness, and technological advancements. The display generated significant interest among students and offered valuable insights into military life and defence preparedness.

The programme concluded on a positive note, strengthening civil-military relations and reinforcing the Indian Army’s role in youth development. Through Project NAVBHARAT, the Army continues to inspire young minds by promoting the values of patriotism, discipline, courage, and dedication to the nation.
