The Indian Army’s Spearhead Division under the Spear Corps organised a youth empowerment programme in Likabali, Arunachal Pradesh, as part of its outreach initiative, Project NAVBHARAT. More than 200 students and teachers participated in the event, which aimed to promote civic awareness, leadership, and national development among young people.
The programme featured interactive sessions on career opportunities in the Indian Army, including guidance on recruitment and entry pathways. Participants also viewed documentaries highlighting the training, operational responsibilities, and service of Indian Army personnel.
As part of the event, students visited a military station museum and attended a weapons and equipment display, providing insights into the Army’s history, capabilities, and role in national security.
According to Army officials, Project NAVBHARAT seeks to engage youth through educational and motivational activities that encourage community participation, leadership development, and a greater understanding of nation-building efforts.
The initiative forms part of the Indian Army’s broader outreach programmes aimed at fostering engagement with local communities and inspiring young citizens to contribute positively to the country’s future.
