Since Friday, rescue teams from the Indian Army’s Golden Katar Division, Ahmedabad, have been carrying out continuous Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations at Rajoda Village, Ahmedabad. Despite extremely challenging conditions, the teams have successfully evacuated 82 civilians who had been stranded for over 40 hours in the Amazon warehouse and adjoining buildings.
Medical assistance is being provided to those requiring care, while relief teams continue to distribute food, drinking water, and other essential supplies to the affected civilians.
Rescue operations remain in progress, with Army personnel working relentlessly to evacuate all remaining stranded individuals. Further updates will be shared as the situation develops.
