    Galwan Day – Saluting Valour, Remembering Sacrifice

    On the occasion of Galwan Day, Maj Gen Sachin Mehta, VSM, GOC 3 Infantry Division, laid a wreath at the Galwan War Memorial, paying solemn tribute to the brave soldiers whose unparalleled courage, steadfast resolve and supreme sacrifice continue to inspire the Nation.

    This year commemorates the 6th Anniversary of Galwan Day and the 1st Anniversary of the Galwan War Memorial, dedicated to the Nation on 07 December 2025.

    In the face of overwhelming adversity, the soldiers of the Indian Army stood firm, displaying exceptional bravery, indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment to duty. Upholding the highest traditions of military service, they defended the Nation with honour and valour. Their sacrifice remains an enduring testament to courage in the line of duty and is forever etched in the annals of the Nation’s history.
