The FIFA World Cup 2026™ will conclude with a grand celebration of football, culture and global unity as the closing ceremony takes centre stage ahead of the tournament final at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, 19 July.

Scheduled to begin at 13:30 local time, 90 minutes before kick-off, the spectacular ceremony will mark the culmination of the biggest-ever FIFA World Cup™, featuring 48 teams competing across three host nations — Canada, Mexico and the United States — and 16 Host Cities.

The star-studded event will bring together some of the world’s biggest names in entertainment, with performances by global icons including Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and IShowSpeed. Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise will also make a special appearance as part of the celebration.

Adding to the excitement ahead of the final, award-winning performer Jennifer Hudson will deliver a special rendition of the United States national anthem. The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner’s performance will set the tone for the highly anticipated championship clash.

Produced in creative partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, the closing ceremony will celebrate the passion, emotion and international spirit that have defined the 23rd edition of the FIFA World Cup. The event will highlight the unforgettable journey of the 48 participating teams and the millions of fans who contributed to a landmark tournament.

“Echoing the spirit of the opening ceremonies, which welcomed the world to the greatest stage in Canada, Mexico and the United States, the closing ceremony will bring the FIFA World Cup 2026 full circle through music, culture and football, before we kick off the highly anticipated match that will crown the champions of this groundbreaking tournament,” said Heimo Schirgi, Chief Operating Officer of FIFA World Cup 2026.

Fans attending the final will be encouraged to arrive early, with gates opening at 11:00 local time. Supporters will have access to a range of pre-match activities, exclusive experiences and entertainment before the closing ceremony begins.

With additional artists and special guests expected to be announced in the coming days, the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony promises to provide a fitting finale to a tournament set to make history on and off the pitch.
