    Central Ministers Visit Ladakh to Review Development Projects and Border Infrastructure

    Union Minister of State for Defence Shri Sanjay Seth, accompanied by Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, visited the forward areas under the Fire and Fury Corps, including Tangtse, Lukung and the Vibrant Village of Phobrang in Ladakh today.

    During the visit, the ministers interacted with troops deployed in the challenging high-altitude terrain and lauded their professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders under demanding operational conditions.

    The delegation also reviewed ongoing border infrastructure and development initiatives aimed at enhancing connectivity, operational readiness and the quality of life in frontier regions. They interacted with local residents of Phobrang under the Vibrant Villages Programme, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to strengthening border infrastructure, promoting vibrant border communities and ensuring inclusive development in strategically important areas.

    The visit underscored the Government’s continued focus on enhancing national security through robust border management, improved infrastructure and sustained engagement with both the armed forces and border populations.
