Under the aegis of Eastern Command, Brahmastra Corps has demonstrated its rapid deployment capability through underslung air mobility training of an Ultra Light Howitzer (ULH) Regiment using Chinook helicopters.
The exercise showcased the seamless integration of artillery firepower with rotary-wing air mobility, underscoring the Army’s ability to rapidly induct combat elements into operational areas, particularly across challenging and difficult terrain.
The capability enhances the force’s operational reach, mobility and agility, enabling timely deployment of artillery assets and strengthening combat readiness in demanding operational environments.
The demonstration reaffirms the Indian Army’s focus on developing rapid, flexible and terrain-adaptive combat capabilities, thereby enhancing Operational Preparedness and mission readiness.
