Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has completed the redevelopment of three railway stations under the Centre’s Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, further advancing the modernization of railway infrastructure in Assam and West Bengal. The first batch of pilgrims undertaking the annual Kailash Mansarovar Yatra crossed into China through the Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district on Monday, marking the beginning of this year’s pilgrimage via the traditional route.
