Assam Rifles organised a series of community outreach activities in Manipur, promoting linguistic awareness, youth engagement and sportsmanship among local communities.

At COB Komlakhong in Imphal West, the Force observed Hindi Diwas with 21 students and two teachers of Moral Guidance School. The programme featured Hindi poem writing and recitation, along with an interactive awareness session highlighting the language’s role in communication and national integration. The activities encouraged creativity, confidence and cultural appreciation among the students.

In Churachandpur, Assam Rifles conducted a sports outreach programme at Sangaikot Village under Operation Sadbhavna. Sports equipment was distributed among local youth to encourage participation in outdoor activities and promote healthy lifestyles.

A friendly volleyball match involving 12 players from Matijang Village was also organised, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship and interaction between the local youth and Assam Rifles personnel.

The initiatives highlighted the Force’s efforts to strengthen community engagement while providing young people with opportunities for constructive participation, personal development and stronger community ties.
