The Indian Air Force is set to host the second edition of Exercise Tarang Shakti at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from 26 September to 12 October 2026. The major multinational air exercise will see participation from seven Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs) with air assets, while 32 nations will attend as observers.
The exercise is aimed at enhancing multinational operational capabilities through realistic joint aerial missions, tactical training and improved interoperability. It will also provide participating nations with an opportunity to exchange operational experiences and share best practices across a range of complex mission scenarios.
Addressing a press conference on Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026, Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit said the multinational exercise will provide India with an opportunity to showcase the growing capabilities of its aerospace and defence industries to friendly partner countries.
