Vadodara is set to host the next edition of the Defence MSME Conclave 2026–27 Series on 18 September, with the event focusing on strengthening the role of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India’s defence industrial ecosystem.
Organised by the Department of Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence, in association with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) and supported by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the conclave will focus on promoting Aatmanirbharta, indigenous capability development and greater global competitiveness in the defence sector.
The conclave will be held under the theme “Defence MSMEs: Catalysts for Aatmanirbharta and Global Competitiveness.”
The initiative seeks to provide a platform for greater industry engagement and collaboration, while highlighting the growing contribution of India’s MSME sector towards strengthening domestic defence manufacturing capabilities and supply chains.
