Approximately 38,000 NCC cadets from all 33 districts of Gujarat, as well as the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, participated in the celebrations, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to promoting health, discipline, and holistic development among the youth.
The yoga sessions focused on enhancing physical fitness, mental well-being, self-discipline, and overall wellness among cadets and members of the local community. The events reinforced the message of yoga as a way of life and encouraged greater awareness of its role in fostering a healthy and balanced society.
The large-scale observance of International Day of Yoga across Gujarat highlighted NCC Directorate Gujarat’s continued dedication to nation-building through the development of disciplined, confident, healthy, and socially responsible young citizens.
The initiative aligns with the broader national vision of creating a Swasth and Sashakt Bharat, with NCC cadets playing a key role in promoting the values of fitness, unity, and service to the nation.
