    MoS Defence Releases ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ Special Issue of ‘Sashakt Bharat’

    Minister of State for Defence Shri Sanjay Seth released the ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ special issue of the Ministry of Defence’s in-house magazine, Sashakt Bharat, in New Delhi on August 13, 2026.

    Speaking at the event, Shri Seth highlighted India’s unique cultural, linguistic and geographical diversity, noting that the country’s varied traditions, lifestyles and beliefs have remained united by a shared spirit of harmony and togetherness. He said that the principle of ‘unity in diversity’ is central to India’s identity and remains one of its greatest strengths.

    The special issue of Sashakt Bharat celebrates the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and showcases India’s geographical, social, cultural and natural diversity from north to south and east to west through creative presentations.

    Senior officials of the Ministry of Defence were also present at the launch.

    Published by the Official Language Division of the Ministry of Defence, Sashakt Bharat provides a platform for officers and staff to showcase their creative and literary talents. The magazine features articles, poems, stories, travelogues and other creative works covering a wide range of subjects, while offering personnel an avenue to share their experiences and ideas.
