Spearhead Division of Spearcorps solemnly commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26 July 2026 by organizing a wreath laying ceremony and sports activities across Subansiri Valley. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from Army personnels, students & local civilians for paying heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who displayed unparalleled courage, unwavering determination and made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil Vijay.
The commemorative event included a wreath-laying ceremony, remembrance of the gallant heroes and an address highlighting the significance of Operation Vijay and display of LOC Kargil Movie to show the enduring legacy of the Kargil warriors. All ranks reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the highest traditions of valour, discipline and selfless service to the Nation.
On the occasion, serving personnel, veterans, students and local residents joined in remembering the sacrifices of the brave hearts whose courage safeguarded the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Nation. The event also served to inspire the younger generation with the values of patriotism, duty and national pride.
