Minister of State for Defence Shri Sanjay Seth will inaugurate विश्व-2026 (VISV-2026 — Vision, Innovation, Synergy, Values) on October 30, 2026, at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi.
Organised by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in collaboration with the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS), the event is themed “Showcasing Defence Capabilities, Strengthening Global Partnerships.”
VISV-2026 aims to showcase India’s indigenous defence technologies and strengthen cooperation with friendly partner nations. The event will bring together representatives from the defence establishment, industry, academia and the diplomatic community to explore opportunities for technology-driven collaboration and strategic partnerships.
The deliberations will focus on India’s progress in indigenous defence research, development and production, alongside efforts to expand international engagement through innovation and defence diplomacy.
Technical sessions will highlight DRDO’s capabilities across aeronautical systems, land and naval systems, sensing and communications, missile systems, microelectronics, computational solutions and soldier support systems. A panel discussion will explore avenues for joint collaboration, capability development and mutually beneficial partnerships between India and friendly nations.
Through VISV-2026, DRDO seeks to advance technological self-reliance while strengthening international defence partnerships through innovation, dialogue and co-operation.
