The Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Suryakiran Aerobatic Team will showcase its precision flying skills in a spectacular air show over Bor Talav, also known as Gaurishankar Lake, in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, on November 1, 2026.
The display is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM and will feature nine red-and-white Hawk Mk-132 aircraft performing a series of coordinated aerial manoeuvres.
Precision Flying and Tricolour Smoke Trails:
The 30–40-minute performance will feature precision formation flying, wingtip-to-wingtip manoeuvres, loops and rolls. Smoke trails in saffron, white and green—the colours of the Indian national flag—are expected to add a patriotic touch to the display.
Renowned for its synchronised formations and demanding aerial routines, the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team represents the Indian Air Force’s flying skills, operational discipline and professional excellence.
Free Public Viewing:
The air show will be open to the public free of charge. Spectators can watch the performance from the shores of Bor Talav and other suitable vantage points across Bhavnagar, including terraces and high-rise buildings offering clear views of the sky.
Practice and rehearsal sorties are scheduled to take place one or two days before the main event.
The showcase will provide residents and visitors with an opportunity to witness the capabilities of the Indian Air Force’s aerobatic team and experience an aerial display combining precision, coordination and national pride.
