On the occasion of the 104th MES Day, a Tech Seminar and Display on the theme “SAMANWAY” was conducted by CE (AF), Gandhinagar Zone at South Western Air Command (SWAC) on 23 Sep 2026.
Air Mshl MS Deswal, SASO, HQ SWAC, presided over the event, which was attended by officers from HQ SWAC and MES, academia from IIT Gandhinagar, and industry representatives.
Key highlights included the signing of an MoU with IIT Gandhinagar for technology and infrastructure development and the unveiling of Vayu Infra Digest–2026, a compilation of engineering knowledge and best practices.
The SASO felicitated MES executives for excellence and inaugurated the Tech Display, showcasing innovative solutions and technological advancements.
The theme “SAMANWAY” reflected the vision of bringing together people, ideas and technology to transform challenges into opportunities and foster innovation, collaboration and sustainable infrastructure development.
