The Western Air Command (WAC) of the Indian Air Force conducted the Station Master Warrant Officers’ (MWOs) Seminar 2026 at Headquarters Western Air Command on September 14, 2026, bringing together Station MWOs from across the Command’s Area of Responsibility.
The seminar was presided over by Air Marshal George Thomas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Air Command, and provided a common platform for Station MWOs to exchange best practices, share field-level experiences and deliberate on measures to further enhance organisational effectiveness.

Discussions during the seminar focused on key issues concerning the working environment, welfare of Air Warriors and their families, resolution of common challenges and strengthening of welfare-oriented initiatives across Air Force stations.

Addressing the participants, the AOC-in-C underscored the pivotal role of Station MWOs in maintaining effective communication, fostering professionalism and ensuring a responsive welfare mechanism at the station level. He emphasised the need for a balanced and people-centric approach to create a positive, cohesive and conducive working environment across Air Force stations.

The seminar also provided an opportunity to identify areas requiring greater attention and evolve practical measures for continuous improvement in station functioning and personnel welfare.

The Station MWOs’ Seminar 2026 reaffirmed Western Air Command’s commitment to personnel welfare, professional excellence and continuous organisational improvement, while strengthening the support framework for Air Warriors and their families across the Command.
