    White Knight Corps GOC reviews operational preparedness along LoC in Rajouri-Poonch sector

    White Knight Corps General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General P K Mishra visited forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Rajouri-Poonch sector to review the operational preparedness of troops and assess the prevailing security situation.

    During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the security environment along the LoC, ongoing counter-infiltration measures and the surveillance grid deployed in the sector. He also reviewed measures being undertaken to further enhance operational effectiveness and strengthen security along the frontier.

    Lieutenant General Mishra commended the troops for maintaining a high level of vigilance, readiness and commitment in challenging operational conditions.

    He exhorted all ranks to remain steadfast and maintain the highest standards of operational preparedness and responsiveness. The Corps Commander also stressed the importance of sustained vigilance to ensure effective security along the Line of Control.
