The Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Sarang Helicopter Display Team has arrived in Egypt to participate in the 2nd edition of the El Alamein International Airshow, scheduled to be held from 08 to 10 September 2026 at El Alamein International Airport.
H.E. Mr Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of India to Egypt, visited the Sarang Team of the Indian Air Force. He was accompanied by General Staff Ahmed Saleh, Commander, Ground Defence Units; Brigadier Staff Mohamed Ezzeldin, Commander, 545 Air Wing; and Colonel Gamal Atef, Chief of Staff, Borg El Arab Air Base.
The visit underscored the enduring defence ties and deepening military co-operation between India and Egypt.The interaction reflected the strong bonds of friendship and growing defence co-operation between the two nations.
