    Indian Air Force Lifts Arjan Singh Hockey Trophy

    The 7th edition of the Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament was successfully conducted from 23 June to 03 July 2026 at the Amit Singh Bakshi Hockey Stadium, Air Force Station Jalahalli. The prestigious tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 16 teams representing various services and organisations.

    Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of Ms. Baljeet Kaur, Indian international hockey player, and Olympian Mr. P.R. Sreejesh, who attended as the Guests of Honour.

    The tournament culminated in an exciting final between the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy. Displaying remarkable teamwork and determination, the Indian Air Force emerged victorious with a 2–1 win to lift the championship trophy.

    Individual honours were also presented in recognition of outstanding performances. Sergeant Anand Lakra of the Indian Air Force was adjudged the Man of the Match, while AGV (S) Agyapal of the Indian Air Force was named the Player of the Tournament.

    The Chief Guest presented trophies, medals and cash prizes to the finalists. The champions, Indian Air Force, received a cash award of ₹10,00,000, while the runners-up, Indian Navy, were awarded ₹8,00,000. The tournament concluded on a high note, celebrating sporting excellence, camaraderie and the enduring spirit of hockey.
