The Indian Army, under the aegis of Red Horns Division, Gajraj Corps, conducted a Motivational Weapon Display for 550 NCC cadets attending the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-42) of 1 Assam Battalion NCC, Guwahati Group at JNV Nalbari today.
The display featured modern infantry weapons, small arms and military equipment currently in service with the Armed Forces. Army personnel briefed cadets on the technical features, operational employment and maintenance of the systems, providing valuable insight into the ongoing modernization of the Indian Army.
The initiative aimed to enhance awareness about the dedication and sacrifices of soldiers while motivating young cadets towards patriotism, discipline and national service. Cadets interacted enthusiastically with the troops and displayed keen interest in military life, with several expressing aspirations to join the Armed Forces.
The event reinforced the NCC motto of “Unity and Discipline” and further strengthened the bond between the Indian Army and the youth of Assam.
