The NCC Headquarters at Law Garden, Ahmedabad, witnessed an impressive tactical demonstration by the Black Cat Commandos of the 30 Special Composite Group (SCG), National Security Guard (NSG), showcasing the operational skills, precision and readiness of India’s premier counter-terrorism force.
The demonstration marked the culmination of Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 124, organised by 37 Gujarat Battalion NCC under the aegis of the NCC Directorate of Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
More than 100 NSG commandos participated in the live demonstration, providing NCC cadets and other attendees with an insight into the specialised skills and operational preparedness required for counter-terrorism missions. The event was witnessed by senior NCC officers, Associate NCC Officers, Permanent Instructor Staff, more than 600 NCC cadets and their parents.
The demonstration featured real-time tactical commentary and simulated combat scenarios, showcasing a range of specialised capabilities, including:
– Urban Intervention and Building Clearance
– Hostage Rescue Operations
– Slithering and Rope Craft Operations
– Assault K-9 Tactics and Squad Drills
– Explosive Threat and IED Render-Safe Procedures
– Mixed Martial Arts Display
– Weapons and Equipment Display
The demonstration offered the young cadets a close view of the discipline, physical endurance, teamwork and tactical preparedness required in specialised military and counter-terrorism operations.
The event served as an important motivational experience for the NCC cadets, providing them with an opportunity to witness specialised operational capabilities at close quarters and encouraging them to strive for excellence, discipline and service to the nation.
