During his visit to Ordnance Factory Khamaria, the VCOAS reviewed ongoing initiatives undertaken by the establishment to meet the operational and logistical requirements of the Indian Army. He also assessed efforts towards enhancing Atmanirbharta and strengthening the indigenous defence industrial ecosystem through greater technological innovation and self-reliance.

At Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area, Lieutenant General Jain reviewed the formation’s operational readiness, specialised Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) preparedness, training activities and ongoing infrastructure development. He also reviewed the formation’s preparedness to respond effectively to emerging contingencies and future operational challenges.

The VCOAS subsequently visited the Military College of Material Management (MCMM), Jabalpur, where he reviewed the institution’s preparedness, training programmes and infrastructure development initiatives aimed at enhancing professional competence and material management capabilities.
