The Indian Army has invited applications for the second edition of the Indian Army Internship Programme (IAIP) 2026–27, offering paid internship opportunities to students and young professionals across a range of emerging and strategic domains.

The internship programme, to be conducted in the National Capital Region (NCR), aims to provide participants with practical exposure to the defence ecosystem while enabling them to work alongside Indian Army officers and subject matter experts on projects of national importance.

The programme covers several cutting-edge fields, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, Strategic Communication, Financial Technology (FinTech), Human Resource Management, Operational Logistics and Advanced Warfare Systems.

According to the Indian Army, the initiative is designed to nurture innovation, strengthen industry-academia collaboration and provide interns with hands-on experience in technologies and management practices that support national security and defence preparedness.

Interested candidates can submit their applications through the National Internship Portal. The programme offers selected interns an opportunity to gain professional mentorship, develop technical and strategic skills, and contribute to projects within the Indian Army’s evolving technological ecosystem.
