Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh today paid homage at the Rezang La Memorial, honouring the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the Battle of Rezang La.
Accompanied by his wife, Sarita Singh, the Air Chief laid wreaths at the memorial in tribute to the bravery, courage and unwavering devotion to duty displayed by the soldiers during one of the most celebrated battles in India’s military history.
The visit commemorated the valour and sacrifice of the heroes of Rezang La and underscored the enduring legacy of their service. According to the Indian Air Force, their example continues to inspire generations of military personnel and reinforces the spirit of jointness among the Armed Forces.
