The Indian Army’s Spearhead Division, under the aegis of Spear Corps, conducted a youth empowerment programme under Project NAVBHARAT at Likabali, aimed at strengthening civil-military relations and inspiring the younger generation towards nation-building.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 181 individuals, including 167 students and 14 teachers from Dhemaji. The initiative focused on promoting patriotism, national integration, leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility among youth.
As part of the programme, students attended motivational lectures and informative documentaries highlighting the valour, dedication, rigorous training and sacrifices of Indian Army personnel. The sessions encouraged students to contribute positively towards community development and the progress of the nation.
A key highlight of the programme was the students’ visit to Likabali Military Station, where they received first-hand exposure to the Army’s operational preparedness, discipline and way of life. The participants were briefed on the Indian Army’s role in safeguarding national security and were also shown a static display of modern weapons, military equipment and tactical systems.
The initiative provided students with valuable insights into the Armed Forces and strengthened the bond between the Army and the local community. Through Project NAVBHARAT, the Spearhead Division reaffirmed its commitment to youth engagement, fostering patriotism and encouraging future generations to actively contribute towards nation-building.
The programme concluded successfully, leaving participants motivated and inspired by the values of discipline, service and dedication exemplified by the Indian Army.
