The Gajraj Corps organised a Military-Civil Fusion Seminar titled “Sonitpur SAMVAD” in Tezpur to strengthen civil-military cooperation under the vision of “Samoohik Prayas Se Rashtranirman” and the principle of “Rashtra Sarvopari.”
The seminar brought together senior representatives from the state administration, security agencies, educational institutions, healthcare organisations and local bodies, including officials from Tezpur University, SSB, police, forest department, private hospitals and skill development centres.

Addressing the gathering, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Gajraj Corps, Lt. Gen Neeraj Shukla highlighted “JAI” — Jointness, Aatmanirbharta and Innovation — as the key framework for building a secure and future-ready India in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The GOC stressed the need for coordinated action and institutional collaboration to strengthen regional resilience and national development.

During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) and Army hospitals under Gajraj Corps to enhance mental healthcare support through training, research, clinical assistance and community outreach programmes.
The initiative aims to promote integrated development, institutional cooperation and collective nation-building while reinforcing the importance of mental well-being.
